(Life on Stage #1)

No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.
Rules were made to be broken, right?
Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.
The Bachelor’s choice is the producer’s bet, but her heart belongs to his brother. A reality-tv-dating game with the Survivor format is a treat. I can’t even find any reason to dislike that bachelor who’s pining for the woman of the hour. Even if he wasn’t really the focal point of the story.
I may or may not be one of those people who liked love triangles on novels. I get that other people might find them time consuming and vindictive and confusing. For me however, I find it amusing and entertaining, as long as I am not part of that triangle. But that’s just me. With Throb, it just simply clicked. I don’t know why I both liked the men in this story; maybe it’s because of their distinct personalities and all.
Anyway, Kate here was lucky to have gotten most men’s attention and praise but her ending with the one she truly love, now that’s something worth reading. Can’t help my heart from throbbing incessantly. Love the story to bits!
