Double Crossed: Stolen
A Dark Romance
by Sabrina Howl

It was just a regular day at the bank for Lisbeth – clock in, manage funds and let finances dictate her flow. That normality is shattered the moment two criminals pick her bank to cash in on. When the alarm is tripped and the duo trapped inside, she’s the lucky human shield that gets them past the cops. Though Lisbeth considers herself another victim of their crime spree, she can’t deny her attraction to the men. They might have stolen her, but that doesn’t mean they can’t enlighten her – or that they can’t show her exactly what her monotonous life has been missing.

DOUBLE CROSSED: STOLEN is a dark steamy romance with themes of kidnapping, captivity, MMF action and guaranteed to get your heart racing!

Lisbeth was a banker who was caught in a crossfire when two armed and masked men took over the bank for a holdup. She’d been taken hostage by the men and was used as a human shield to be able to escape the cops. Little did she know that this was the start of a more gripping, if not more dangerous life she’d ever led.

Warren and Callum may have had hit the jackpot, not only because they had robbed a bank, but also because they met the woman who made their life even more exhilarating than ever before.

While I wasn’t particularly in favor of the plot (robbing banks and holding hostages), I knew there was still something going on about the characters that will make the reader have second thoughts. There’s a lot more than bank robbery and even kidnapping. The two male characters could definitely set the fire alarm for their extreme hotness and fiery attitude. Lisbeth was definitely in for the shock of her life.

This has been a rollercoaster of a story, a little too raunchy for my taste but proved to be quite promising.
