Just one final target stands between a weary assassin and a life of freedom and wealth. But time is running short: his target knows that he’s coming, and he’s not the only paid killer looking to collect on the contract…

NOTE: I received the book from the Author in exchange for an honest review.

★★★★☆ : Great! I liked this book!

His last mission was supposedly his ticket to his freedom. But like what most people say, the best is always saved for last. This time, the best was actually the most impossible mission Desh had encountered yet. Not only did his target know about his assassination attempt, there were also other assassins who would go to great lengths to accomplish the task. And a lot of people’s lives are at stake.

Desh is brave and driven. He’s got a lot of killings done in his life, but this last one was the most important to him because it meant liberty. This book is a measly 18-page story but it is actually packed with action, suspense and thrilling scenes. The ending of Desh’s Last Pursuit was quite a bombshell, it actually shook my world. On the last couple of pages in the book, I was left wondering and worrying about Desh’s final destination but there’s this also the completeness that I felt at the end. Like a smorgasbord of emotions. Piers Platt definitely delivered a one-of-a-kind story!
