Desperate to escape her tragic past, Sara Hawthorne packs up everything she owns and moves across the country to Seattle with her best friend Alexa. With the recent passing of her grandmother there is nothing holding her back from starting over. She dreams of a normal life, one which isn’t constantly plagued by nightmares. Everything seems to be going her way until a gorgeous stranger walks into her shop, turning her world upside down.
Although Alek Devera is not the relationship type, everything changes once he comes face to face with Sara. Never having met someone quite like her, he starts to question everything he knows.
She intrigues him.
She challenges him.
She threatens the secret he’s been hiding for years.
Will a promise made long ago be the very same thing that destroys their chance for happiness?
He’s over protective. She’s a virgin.
He’s got a lot of secrets. She’s running from her past.
Alek and Sara.. Sara and Alek..Two contrasting personalities, one sizzling pair. Two dark secrets, one common denominator. They both got skeletons in their closets, each trying hard to hide them for as long as possible. One thing for sure, this is one awesome book!
Addicted is my first book by S. Nelson and I am completely stoked. From the moment these strangers Alek & Sara shared a bed after a drunkenfest night to the time Alek had to nurse Sara back to health, I knew I was in for a rollercoaster ride. And what a funfilled, hot, spicy, thrilling and bewildering ride it was. I got to know more about these two characters as I devoured every page.
I would love to tease you with one of their hot encounters. This one’s just one of the many that I liked!
Furthermore, let me just say… the shocking ending had me screaming expletives and demanding for more!
S. Nelson captivated me with her beautiful writing and spellbinding characters. I found myself lost within seconds and within the pages. I could certainly see the reason why everyone gets addicted reading this book!
S. Nelson grew up with a love of reading and a very active imagination, never putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard until a year and a half ago.
When she isn’t engrossed in creating one of the many stories rattling around inside her head, she loves to read and travel as much as she can.
She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two dogs, enjoying the ever changing seasons.
